Any entity using the ATC Certification Mark or associated marks must have an appropriate and valid certificate issued by ATC Certification Limited’s Certification Committee.
ATC Certification mark may only be applied, and used in conjunction with, the scope as defined on the associated certificate.
The client must ensure there is no suggestion the certification applies to any activity or site outside the scope of the certification, as defined on their current certificate.
The client must avoid making misleading statements regarding certification in any communication of any kind. This includes the use of certification documents.
The client must always take care to ensure certification use does not bring the certification body or the certification mark into disrepute, or do anything that could affect public trust in the ATC certification process.
Where and how can the Certification Mark be used?
The client’s unique certificate number must be present on the ATC Certification Mark logo. The mark may only be reproduced in its entirety.
The mark may be used as follows:
- On headed paper and printed material,
- On social media, websites and other digital media,
- On uniforms, vehicles and other company assets.
Where printed:
- Use the artwork provided directly by ATC Certification, DO NOT obtain images from a search engine or other website.
- Use only the ATC Teal #1f526b, Black on White or inverted White on Black,
- Ensure the logo is large enough for text to be legible and easily read,
- Maintain a minimum of one-character sized clear space around the logo.
Where used digitally:
- Use the artwork provided directly by ATC Certification, DO NOT obtain images from a search engine or other website.
- Use only the ATC Teal #1f526b, Black on White or inverted White on Black,
- Ensure the logo is large enough for text to be legible and easily read,
- Maintain a minimum of one-character sized clear space around the logo.
- Always hyperlink back to the client’s unique entry on the ATC Certification Database.
ATC Certification Marks are not permitted to be used by certified clients on laboratory tests, calibration or inspection reports or inspection certificates as it may be misleading.
Any statements on product packaging or accompanying information must make clear the applicable scope to which the certification applied.
Changes to Eligibility.
If the certification scope is changed, all material must be amended to reflect this.
Intellectual Property
ATC Certification Limited owns and controls the ATC Certification Mark, certificates and certification marks.
ATC Certification will take action to address the incorrect use of certification documents and marks, including misleading reference to certification status, use of documents, marks or the audit report. This could include withdrawing or suspending the certificate if an request to amend is ignored; and legal action if necessary.
