We spoke to the ASTW Project Manager, Elisa Formisano, and asked them some questions about the ISO Certification project and how they found working with ATCC since receiving their ISO certification in October 2020.
Why did you choose to become ISO Certified?
Because we believe that being ISO Certified can guarantee higher quality to our clients, can help us grow our business and often make the onboarding procedures easier and quicker. Moreover, more and more end clients ask about ISO certifications before starting long term collaborations with LSPs.
How did you find the process with ATC Certification?
Reasonably easy: all required steps were indicated clearly. ATC staff is always responsive and reliable.
Why did you choose ATC Certification?
After evaluating some alternatives and after consulting with another LSP that successfully chose ATC, we decided to proceed with them…and we realise that we made the right choice!
How long did it take you to prepare for certification?
Luckily, we had been working as an ISO certified company even before actually gaining the certifications: all we had to do was gather a series of documents and we were ready for the audit!
Would you recommend becoming certified with ATC Certification to other companies in the language services industry?
ISO certifications nowadays represent a must have for every company, let alone LSPs, no matter their size. Those who want to be part of the game simply have to gain theirs!
