Congratulations to Orange Translations UK Ltd on becoming ISO 17100 certified with ATC Certification!

Orange Translations provide professional translation services in over fifty different languages, specialising in marketing, market research, legal, finance and engineering.

We asked the firm’s Managing Partner, Martin Heimann, some questions about the certification process and how they found working with ATCC.

Why did you choose to become ISO Certified?

The main reason was to increase our credibility towards potential clients. ISO certification adds an extra level of confidence and reassurance and is useful in our marketing efforts. Some organisations require ISO certification, so we are hoping this will help expand our client base.

How did you find the process with ATC Certification?

The process was smooth; communications were clear and at all times respectful and helpful.

Why did you choose ATC Certification?

I became aware of ATC Certification during an industry event in London where they had an exhibitor booth. A couple years later I requested a quote; the pricing was reasonable and I liked the fact that ATC Certification is a provider from within the language industry.

How long did it take you to prepare for certification?

About 1 year. We could have done it faster for sure, but we wanted to make some changes to our processes first. That took a bit of time to roll out.

Would you recommend becoming certified with ATC Certification to other companies in the language services industry?

Absolutely. I have heard from translation companies using other certification providers who were nit-picky, difficult to work with and even disrespectful. ATC has the industry experience and the right people who already come to the table with a deep understanding of how a translation business works. That makes a real difference.
