ATC Certification’s 2021 in Review

Feedback Results

Recommendations are hugely important to us. When we set up the ISO Certification Service four years ago, our driver was to produce auditing and certification for the language services industry with a team who understands the industry and adds value to our clients.

In 2021, we are pleased to see that nearly 80% would recommend us with confidence, and the remaining already has!

We’d like to thank you all for placing your trust in us.

 

Many people have moved to remote working in recent times, but of course we have delivered remote audits since day one. We wanted to find out what level of service you experienced from these remote services.

We were again really pleased to see an overwhelmingly positive response to this question – it’s how we want to continue building this service.

 

Lastly, we wanted to gauge how important ISO Certification is to you in this current climate.

Out of this year’s respondents, 74% said ISO Certification was as important as before the pandemic, with 16% saying it remained extremely important.

What this tells us is that there is still a need for our service and ISO Standards still have a commercial and process operations value to you.

 

Language Services ISO Standards

We launched the ATC’s ISO certification service with translation standards such as ISO 17100 and ISO 18587 but what we have seen in the past two years is the emergence of interpreting standards.

This has not only been through the publication of new international interpreting standards, but also through the interest these standards have raised with language services companies.

The knowledge of these standards also seems to be spreading quite rapidly in your customer space. As ATC Certification, we are committed to continuing to support certification to any language services standards.

But what we also see really clearly is that it’s not just the specialist language standards that you need, but also the management system standards including ISO 9001 for Quality Management, ISO 27001 for Information Security and ISO 14001 for Environmental Management which you can also get certified to with us at ATC Certification.

 

Validate ATC Certificates

The ATC Certification office regularly gets enquiries from the public asking us to validate a certificate from a language service provider, or a mark they have seen on a website.

And while the office is always happy to help, we have built a self-service certificate lookup tool on our website: https://atccertification.com/certified-clients/.

Search by Organisation name to access our Certificate database where you can verify the organisation’s certification scope and status.

Maintaining trust in our certification scheme is vitally important, which is why we operate to our impartiality policy and make the process as transparent as possible. We also work hard to identify the misuse of our certificates and marks, and we hope this tool will help us maintain certificate integrity.
